3oth Annual Show 2012
THANK YOU to all who shared in the Quilters By the Sea Quilt Show for 2012! Our PEARL anniversary was wonderful thanks to all of you! And didn’t you enjoy that 1930’s Display?? It was awesome to see some of the items that we remember from Grandma’s house – or maybe it was our parent’s, or even our own homes!! Visitors made bean bags on hand crank machines, experienced a bed turning, and learn some history along the way.
And our quilts were just gorgeous this year, it was hard not to come away inspired. This year we had a lot of the larger quilts. There were a total of 149 quilts in the judged categories, and another 34 that were in the display only groups. Our judges had some hard decisions to make on awarding those ribbons. Congratulations to all of our ribbon winners!
A very special thanks to all of our Guild members who worked so hard to make this show such a success; we could not have made it without you.
And to our vendors and to all of you who came to visit us, we hope you will come and see us again in 2013!
